EscherSketch is a 2-dimensional graphical application designed to assist artists, designers and enthusiasts in the creation of tessellations. It is also a teaching and learning tool for the methods developed by M.C. Escher by which complex tiles resembling objects and creatures can be created and assembled in a tessellation plane. EscherSketch provides utilities for the creation of high quality prints as well as a vector format that provides a path to a variety of external fabrication tools and devices. |
